the ani-mates. Cypher lost his life protecting Rahne in the

(a.k.a. Allison Crestmere): Amara
was the first to join the New Mutants after the original five.
Amara controls tektonic plates and lava flows. |

all the New Mutants during the second Secret War. He resurrected
them all later, but the process left them psychologically
damaged and unable to perform as well as they had before.

friend and an original member of the New Mutants. Dani has
a mental bond with animals, which includes Rahne when she

She has not been seen since the real Illyana (now deceased)
came back at the end of Inferno. Rahne originally feared Magik
