From the time her teammate Roberto (Sunspot) DaCosta kissed her hand in greeting, Rahne has always shown strong interest in the opposite sex. Her first and longest lasting crush was on Sam (Cannonball) Guthrie, though he never had feelings for her other than being a friend.

In trying to get Sam to like her, Rahne embarrassed herself time and again. She often expressed jealousy toward Lila Cheney, Sam's long time girlfriend. Sam is still a dear friend to Rahne, and he unofficially "adopted" her as a little sister eventually.

Her second romantic interest was not in a human; it was the Wolf-Prince Hrimhari. The two met together now and then--whenever the New Mutants just happened to be plodding through Asgard. Their attraction to each other was obvious, though they never had a real relationship.

Rahne began spending time with her teammate Doug (Cypher) Ramsey, and the two had a mutual feeling for one another. The few moments they had were sweet but unfortunately Doug was killed saving Rahne's life. Rahne was devastated to say the least.

Shortly thereafter Rahne began getting closer to Julio Esteban (Rictor) Richter, who had the honor of Rahne's first kiss.

Their relationship basically ended when Rahne was psychically and emotionally bonded to Alex (Havok) Summers by the Genoshans. The process left her in a hormonal turmoil that had her hitting on not only Alex but on Jamie (Multiple) Madrox as well. Rahne did see Ric once again and had her second passionate kiss, but had become so wild that she drew blood doing it.

Rahne's driving force at this time was only to Alex, thanks to the Genoshans. Her jealousy toward Lorna (Polaris) Dane (Havok's partner) eventually became violent. Fortunately Rahne was cured by Haven before much damage could be done.

When the extraterrestrial known as Douglock came on the scene, bearing similairties not only to Warlock but to the deceased Doug Ramsey as well, Rahne instantly befriended him and before long the two were romantically involved. Though they did share a kiss onscreen, this relationship also fizzled out without much notice, though the two are still friends. Douglock has since discovered that he is indeed the original Warlock, albeit with Doug Ramsey's memories as well as his own.

Josh Foley (Elixir) became interested in Rahne as soon as he laid eyes on her. She was attracted to Josh, and it was by kissing him that she regained her powers. Rahne became a teacher at Xavier's and eventually broke up with Josh, but Kevin (Wither) Ford exposed them to the faculty, causing Rahne to leave the school in shame.

Recently in X-Factor Rahne was been seen having intimate relations with Rictor. Shortly after, she left the team to join X-Force.
